Curewiki is proud to announce its participation in the groundbreaking READI Project (Research in Europe and Diversity Inclusion), a Horizon Europe-funded initiative set to transform clinical research across Europe. The six-year project is a major step toward enhancing the inclusion of underserved and underrepresented populations in clinical studies, including ethnic minorities, older people, and socioeconomically disadvantaged communities.
These groups are often excluded from clinical research, creating gaps in healthcare knowledge and limiting access to innovative treatments and technologies. READI aims to address this by:
Identifying and addressing barriers to participation in clinical studies
Co-developing tools, resources, and training programs for inclusive study designs
Developing an innovative digital platform to enhance collaboration among patients, researchers, and stakeholders
With 73 partners across 18 countries, this initiative will foster health equity and improve the quality of clinical research across Europe.
Curewiki is committed to being part of this important movement to reshape the clinical research landscape and ensure that all populations are represented and have access to the benefits of clinical studies.
